Each ESX file passes a 18-gate automated validation before we call it ready. The checks cover the file's structure, line-item codes, prices, and math — the same categories a senior adjuster would review by hand. Files that pass show a green “✓ Verified” badge; files with notes show an amber “Verified with notes”; anything failing is never presented as verified.

• Codes come from real ground truth — line items are matched against the current Xactimate price catalog (18,000+ codes), never invented.
• The PDF price is the truth— where a catalog match isn't found, the line keeps the price from your PDF and is explicitly flagged instead of being “guessed.”
• Math is re-checked— component sums, quantities, and grand totals are validated so a bad total can't slip into the file silently.
• The reprice trap is blocked— files never emit Xactimate's catch-all codes (9500/9501) that silently reprice on import and inflate totals.

The Accuracy Report — per line, in plain English

On every ready conversion, the “View Accuracy Report” button opens a per-line breakdown: which lines use the exact catalog price (matched to catalog), which kept the PDF's price (kept PDF price or general quote), and which have no matching code (needs review). A summary line — e.g. “38 of 47 lines use exact Xactimate catalog prices” — gives the verdict at a glance, and unresolved lines are never default-priced.
