Macros in Xactimate

An Xactimate-specific term for the macro system, which is a library of shortcuts that inserts a series of items into an estimate. The system works with the measured quantities and is organized by trade. When an estimator uses macros, every line is still recorded in the ESX file with its product code and price, so the reviewer sees the full estimate rather than only the shortcut that produced it.
