Macros

Shortcut commands in Xactimate that add a predefined group of line items to an estimate. Macros are defined as MAC items that include measurements, codes, and descriptions, and they can be selected from the macro menu. They speed up estimating on repeat work such as flooring or roofing, but they can also insert the wrong code if the macro is not updated with the job's measurements.
