A saved set of commonly used line items in Xactimate that can be added to an estimate with one command. Macros and macro templates let an estimator write a repetitive scope, such as a roof tear-off, without re-entering each line. The template keeps the same codes and structure across jobs, but each job still needs its quantities checked because every roof is measured differently.
