IICRC

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a standards body for the restoration industry. IICRC publishes standards for water damage restoration, fire and smoke cleaning, and other restoration procedures. Restorers who hold IICRC certifications are trained to the industry's accepted methods. Contractors commonly reference IICRC standards in their scope of work so the adjuster and the policyholder share the same procedure.
