Estimating & Workflow
Self-adhesive tape made of synthetic rubber or modified bitumen, used to seal roof penetrations and transitions. Contractors press the tape into place over pipes, vents, and edges to add a watertight layer beneath the flashing. In repair estimates, flashing tape is a small but important line item, because a poor seal at a penetration is one of the common causes of interior leaks after a roofing job.
