Estimating & Workflow
The shape or profile of the trim installed at a roof edge. Different profiles exist, and each one directs water off the roof in a slightly different way. The profile matters during repair because a replacement piece should match the existing edge trim and the manufacturer specifications. An estimator notes the profile when writing line items so the roofer orders the correct material and the adjuster can verify the scope.
