Desk adjuster

An insurance adjuster who handles claims from an office rather than visiting the property. Desk adjusters review the claim file, photos, and estimates, then communicate with the policyholder and the contractor by phone or email. They often handle smaller or more straightforward claims, while field adjusters inspect damage on site. Estimates prepared for a desk adjuster still need accurate line items and supporting documentation so the review can be completed remotely.
