Arbitration

A dispute resolution process where a neutral party hears both sides and issues a decision. Insurance policies sometimes direct coverage disagreements to arbitration instead of court. It tends to be faster than litigation and its result is usually harder to change, so both sides prepare their records carefully before the hearing.
