Co-Founder & Director of Operations, Strategy & Risk
Off By Two LLC — the company behind ESXPress.
Salena holds a master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. In plain terms: she studies why people get frustrated by systems, then makes sure we don't build that. The workflows inside ESXPress are shaped for the people actually using it — adjusters, roofers, and office administrators who just want the work to behave. Her job is the psychology on the other side of the screen.
Someone has to worry about liability, contracts, insurance requirements, and compliance frameworks before they become problems. That's Salena: she owns risk across the company's lifecycle, so ESXPress can scale without tripping over legal, financial, or operational landmines. It's not glamorous. It's why the company survives the growth.
Salena brings years of hands-on experience leading teams, managing office infrastructure, and running day-to-day operations for small to mid-size companies. She directs the growth, structure, and operational stability — while keeping the core milestones moving through rapid build cycles. In practical terms: Chaz builds, Salena keeps the ship pointed at the horizon.
ESXPress is a two-person build with one rule: don't ship something you wouldn't want to use yourself. Chaz owns the code and the estimating depth; Salena owns the operations, the risk, and the question neither of us lets slide — does this actually make sense for the person using it?

Every hour a crew spends typing line items is an hour not spent on roofs. ESXPress turns a carrier scope PDF into an import-ready Xactimate ESX file in minutes — so the typists go back to being roofers.
